Customer's Fault Description
All of the buttons make the red light come on, but this only occasionally turns the fire on.

I've tried new batteries and it's the same problem.

I don't know if it's the remote or the fire place receiver, but something is a miss.
<br />
Please can you check the remote and repair if necessary.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Flamerite remote control arrived safely from Sutton Coldfield and on testing was found to be transmitting on each button press as per normal. The codeset being transmitted was consistent with a standard flamerite fire and the signal strength was strong each time.
The remote was tested at random intervals over a 3 day period with no issue being found.
