Bose RC-X35L Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Remote was working fine and placed on the sofa. Next time it was picked up 30 seconds later there was no response. No buttons do anything and screen at the top won't come on. Replaced batteries expecting that to be the issue but remote continues to be dead.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Bose Sound System Remote control arrived safely from Wiltshire and on testing was confirmed to be dead. This was due to a 1R resistor blowing open circuit.
Once replaced full functionality was restored.
