Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Fire remote control arrived safely from Holmfirth and on testing was found to be dead.
When opened there was a lot of brown sticky liquid covering the screen and parts of the print (see image). This was all cleaned and then the battery cable and regulator was replaced. Full functionality was restored. The supplied battery was totally drained and disposed of, the customer will need to get a new battery for insertion on return.
