Wire rusted between battery and board. ( rain water damage )
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Single Axle Caravan mover Handset arrived safely from Beverley and on testing was found to be dead.

There was signs of contamination on the PCB around a few of the buttons and the buttons were found to be high in resistance.  All buttons were replaced as well as a SMD diode which restored full functionality.
