Sharp LC-32DHE5111KW Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Some buttons don't work at all or only intermittently work. Specifically, the TV guide button only intermittently works, the volume down button doesn't work all and the volume up button only works intermittently, and the mute button doesn't work at all. These are the main buttons that seem to be a problem. It would be good if you're able to give all the contacts a bit of a clean/service etc to try and prevent any other problems in the future.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Sharp remote control arrived safely from Hyndburn and on testing was found to be non responsive. On opening, there was a large amount of sticky liquid over the entire PCB and button array.
This was all cleaned up then replacement conductive pads glued under all buttons which restored full functionality.
