Customer's Fault Description
Both of the battery springs inside the remote are broken, also the LED light on the remote control does not illuminate.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Electric Fire Remote control arrived safely and on inspection was found to have suffered a battery leak which had destroyed some of the terminals and damaged the print.

The terminals were replaced and then the print reworked which restored full functionality. 

Please note that the LED does not illuminate as it is Infra Red meaning it is invisible to the human eye.
