Customer's Fault Description
The only button which works is the on/off and this will turn the fire off if it has been put on manually but will not turn the fire on or activate the flame setting or the heating. The manual switches on the fire itself work normally.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Celsi Electric fire remote control arrived safely from Derby and on testing was found to have some non functioning buttons.
When opened this was found to be due to contamination that was corroding the button contacts (see image), the contacts were cleared of all contaminants and then replacement conductive pads were glued under all of the buttons.
Full functionality was restored.
