Customer's Fault Description
No response from receivers. Changed batteries but no better. We have a 3rd controller which does work so the receivers are ok.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
These two garage door remote controls arrived safely from Bristol and on testing the cream coloured one was totally dead.
The battery cable was found to have been soldered incorrectly (reverse polarity). A replacement battery cable was fitted which restored full functionality.
The brown remote was found to be intermittent in response. The battery cable was also found to be damaged. A replacement was fitted which again restored full functionality.
