Customer's Fault Description
The fire screen of log fire kept buffering and remote wasn't working. I contacted the supplier Focal Point and I bought a new memory card from them. The memory card worked and the screen is no longer buffering. But the remote is not working and I only have one choice of screen (typically the one I like the least)
I've tried a new battery in the remote with no success
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote control arrived safely from Darlington and on testing was found to be dead.
When opened the issue was found to be due to one of the battery terminals being mangled, this is usually from the battery being inserted upside down.
The terminal was re-formed which restored full functionality. A CR2025 battery will be provided fitted on return.
