Customer's Fault Description
Receiver does not seem to get a signal from remote control.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Gas fire remote control and receiver arrived safely from Tilsworth and on testing the remote was foudn to not transmit a signal.
This was due to a faulty US transducer in the handset, once the transducer was replaced full functionality was restored.
No fault was found with the receiver BUT there is signs of a battery leak, due to this we recommend using with caution as once these receivers suffer a battery leak they can possibly develop random faults such as channels not responding or they can even turn the heater on without intervention. The receiver is not covered under any guarantee by us as the remote is the repaired item.
