Customer's Fault Description
Something is rattling around on the in side of the remote (unsure what) and the buttons don't react 90% of the time.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote control arrived safely and on inspection was confirmed to have something loose inside and would rattle loudly when moved. The battery cover has a small chip missing ,this cannot be replaced and doesn't effect functionality.
On opening the large metal shielding plate was loose inside the control. This was hot glued firmly back into place.
The buttons were all tested as ok, please note that the power button is delayed for safety reasons. I.e. you must keep your finger for a few seconds for it to actuate, this is to prevent accidental turning on of the fire.
