ECHOSTAR Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : ECHOSTAR
Customers Fault Description : I have recently dropped the remote onto the floor a couple of times as I have shoulder and arm mobility issues. I have changed the batteries but to no avail.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This TV recorder remote control arrived safely from Wick and on testing was found to have erratic functionality.
On opening there was signs of liquid over parts of the button array, this was all cleared and then the IR LED was found to have a crack around one of its legs (possibly from the dropping). This was resoldered and full functionality was restored.
A Set of CR2025 batteries will be supplied fitted on return.
