inoperable due to ingress of water it was working perfectly prior to grandson playing with it in the bath
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This remote control arrived safely and on inspection one of the battery terminals was missing and rust was found inside the battery compartment.

Unfortunately when opening the remote the facia was found to start to split due to water corrosion, but also the PCB was found to have a large amount of rusted corrosion over the print and also contamination over all of the pins of the main PCB.  Due to the amount of damage a repair is sadly not possible.

I have looked for a suitable replacement but none could be found.  The best chance of getting a remote working with the TV is to get a universal that has a sweeping programming function (i.e. one that allows you to go through all of the codes on by one until it effects the TV)
