This cooker hood remote arrived safely and on inspection the cover was damaged from heat exposure, (one side has bumps in it from the heat)
The case was held together by tape and the back cover / circuit board was fitted upside down.
The PCB mounting pic was broken which allowed the PCB to move freely which is the most common issue on these remotes. This allows the buttons to not align with the PCB making them non functioning. The POCB was hot glued into position then reassembled correctly, full functionality was restored.
