The button surround won’t stay in place. LED light buttons work sometimes but not always
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Ceiling fan remote control arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have sluggish button response and the facia was loose.

The sluggish buttons were found to be due to decomposing button contacts.  Replacement conductive pads were glued under all buttons and then the PCB cleared of all contaminants.  The facia was then stuck back into position.
