Customer's Fault Description
buttons do not work. new battery has been installed but no difference. Suspect battery contacts need a good glean. A light is featured on the remote to confirm contact is made. The unit does work outside of its box but not inside.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Extractor Fan remote control arrived safely from Eastleigh and on testing was found to be functioning as normal on every button press.
The code being transmitted was confirmed to be a correct codeset for this model.
The remote was then tested at random intervals over a 3 day period with no issues being replicated.
The customer is to ensure that the correct battery is used, there are different batteries of different voltages that will fit but not function. This remote requires a 12 Volt MN27 battery.
