This remote and receiver arrived safely from Darlington and on testing the remote was found to be transmitting as per normal operation.

The receiver had signs of being opened in the past as the model label was split in two across the seam of the receivers case.

The receiver was tested and found to not respond to the remotes signal.

A component test was carried out without a readable issue being found. Strangely whenever the PCB was heated in any way the receiver would work but then fail minutes / hours later.  Due to the intermittent nature of the fault it has made diagnosing the issue not possible.
