No power to remote controller when you disconnect the plug and replug it it it flashes on then goes off

This electric chair remote controller arrived safely from the west midlands and on inspection a coiuple of wires had broken away from the PCB (see image).

these were soldered firmly back into place and then hot glue used to prevent them from breaking away again.
