Customer's Fault Description
The remote control is not functioning . Batteries have been changed as the old ones had corroded inside the Remote Control but to no effect . ( The new batteries are currently in the Remote Control ).
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Fireplace remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to be dead. This was due to corrosion on in the battery block from a battery leak.
A replacement battery block was fitted which restored full functionality.
