The main issue is I believe the battery keeps draining. It will drain between 24-48hrs of a new one. All the buttons work when it is charged.

This Ceiling Extractor remote control arrived safely from Hampshire and on testing was found to transmit as per normal and no battery drain was found.
The remote was left with a battery inserted for 3 days with no drain at all.
