John Bean Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer
John Bean
Customer's Fault Description
Remote looks to be in fragile condition, exterior secured with cable tie & assume that the internals are possibly no longer connected to relevant components, & this is why the remote is not working. No lights or infrared displaying.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Motorbike MOT Brake Tester remote control arrived safely and on inspection one of the buttons was missing (this cannot be replaced as spares are not available)
On testing the remote was found to be dead. The battery housing mounting pins were broken meaning the battery was loose, an internal mod was made and then replacement conductive pads glued under all of the buttons. Full functionality was restored.
