Customer's Fault Description
Haven’t used the remote for a long time
Put brand new batteries in. The remote worked for a short time, the display works
Stopped sending signal to AirCon unit after first try
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This AirCon remote control arrived safely and on inspection the IR cover weas missing from the top of the handset, this cannot be replaced as spares are not available.
On testing the remote was found ot be transmitting on each button press as per normal.
The control was opened to check for defects, a dead spider was found to be inside the remote along with a small mass of cobwebbing, this was cleaned out of the handset but not issue could be replicated.
The controller was then tested over a 3 day period at random intervals with no fault being found.
This item has been classed as no fault found.
