Gutmann Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Only works if I squeeze the back of the remote hard, it’s had replacement batteries but still not working. If I bind it with electrical tape, it works.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Extractor fan remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to transmit as per normal operation on each button press.
The remote was tested at random intervals over a 2 day period with no fault being replicated.
The code being transmitted was conformed to be correct for each button.
This item has been classed as no fault found, the customer is to test the controller using quality CR2032 batteries such as Energizer.
