Mordaunt Short Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Tried remote today , not used for years, replaced batteries twice but will not work
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Mezzo 9 sub woofer remote control arrived safely from Essex and on testing was found to be transmitting as per normal operation and the audio test function was also found to be functioning as normal.
The controller was opened to check for defects but no issue could be replaced.
The repeat button function is slightly delayed but isn't an issue (i.e. if pressing a button you must wait 1 second before pressing the same button again or it wont transmit, this does not effect functionality when moving from one button to the next)
The code being transmitted was tested as correct.
