Customer's Fault Description
All buttons are not functioning, even after replacing the battery.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Cooker hood JLCEILHD87 remote control arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to be dead.
This was due to both battery termionals being bent out of poosition (see image). This usually happens when a battery is inserted upside down.
The terminals were repositioned which restored full functionality.
A brand new Duracell battery will be supplied fitted on return.
