hormann Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : hormann
Customers Fault Description : Both remote are not working tried new batteries
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
These two Garage Remotes arrived safely from Hawick and on testing one remote was found to bunction as normal with a strong 868Mhz Signal being present on each button press. This was classed as no fault found.
The second remote was found to be dead. When opened the remote was found to have suffered a battery leak with visible contamination over the PCB (see image), the board was cleared of all contaminants and the battery terminals etched clean. Full functionality was restored with a strong 868Mhz signal being present on each button press.
If the "no fault found remote" doesn't effect the garage door then it may be that it requires pairing with the receiver again, this is something we cannot do remotely.
The payment on this page is for one remote repair plus postage.
