JLHDA918 Remote Repair Details

Manufacturer : JLHDA918

Customers Fault Description : Remote control not responding. Changed batteries and no joy. It has been temperamental since purchase … but I got it working until I had to replace the batteries.

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This John Lewis extractor fan remote control arrived safely from Reading and on testing was confirmed to be dead.

On opening this was due to one of the battery terminals being broken away from the PCB (See image). The terminal was soldered firmly back into place which restored full functionality.
