Mertik Maxitrol Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : Mertik Maxitrol
Customers Fault Description : Will lower the gas fire but will not higher the fire, all lights flash, never had any battery leakage in remote or receiver.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This remote and receiver arrived safely from Moreton and on testing the receiver was found to not respond to the up channel.
This was due to a faulty 40.5khz oscillator. The oscillator in the receiver was replaced which restored full functionality.
No fault was found with the remote handset itself.
