Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Remote control for a soundbar arrived safely and on inspection the battery cover was missing, this cannot be replaced as spares are not available.

On testing the remote was found to be dead.  When opened there was contamination over the button contacts, this was all cleaned up but the dead issue remained.  The IR led was found to have broken print contact points, once resoldered full functionality was restored.
