Customer's Fault Description
The controller was not used for a long time and the batteries deteriorated. We cleaned the connection and got some readout on the display but nothing to be able to control the fire.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Gas Fire Control arrived safely from Kidlington and on testing was confirmed to be dead.
When opened there was corrosion within the print due to the battery leak, this has rendered a repair not possible.
Also the fixing clamps for the LCDS display are broken, the broken pieces were not found inside the remote meaning these were broken when opened prior to arrival with us, this would require a full replacement case to be fitted which are not available as spares.
