BMW dvd entertainment Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : It was previously working intermittently and now appears to have stopped working
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Im-Car DVD entertainment remote control arrived safely and on inspection the battery cover was missing, this cannot be replaced as spares are not available.
On testing the remote was confirmed to be dead. This was due to a corrosion spot in the PCB terminal junction. The print was reworked which restored full functionality.
