Mertik Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Remote seems to be working, Receiver does not. LED flashes briefly on battery insertion, does not flash when when remote is presses

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This Gas Fire Controller and receiver arrived safely from Aberystwyth and on testing the remote was found to not transmit a signal on any button press.

This was due to a faulty transducer in the handset, once the transducer was replaced full functionality was restored.

No fault was found with the receiver.
