Audio Research Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Doesn't seems to be working for all buttons
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Preamp remote control arrived safely from Malaysia and on testing was found to have a few sluggish / non functioning buttons.
This was due to worn button contacts. Replacement conductive pads were glued under all buttons which restored full functionality.
The battery cover doesn't seem to "click" and hold into position, this cannot be replaced as spares are not available. This does not effect functionality.
