Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote was handed over locally and on inspection the internal battery terminals were impacted and also the remote rattled when shook as the display mounting pins were broken.
The terminals were found to have impacted so hard that they were non salvageable, a replacement back cover / terminals were fitted and then the display hot glued into position.
There was also some contamination over many of the components from the power circuit (see image), the board was cleared of all contaminants.
Full functionality was restored.
