Truma Saphir Remote Repair Details
This remote arrived safely from Darlington and on testing was found to have many non function buttons.
On opening unfortunately there was a lot of corrosion in the print (see image), an attempt was carried out to clean up and restore the print but the traces and button pads are too far gone and are flaking away from the PCB.
Sadly a repair in this instance is not possible as it would require an entire PCB to repair which are not available as spares.
A google search was carried out and an "Aventa" remote can be found here - https://ebay.us/XEQb9g - This looks similar to the Saphir but we cannot say if it is 100% compatible, therefore please do consult the seller for further details.
This item was disposed of as per the customers email request - 26th Mar 2024
