Mertik Maxitrol Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : Mertik Maxitrol
Customers Fault Description : Vanity plate inside is loose.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This remote arrived safely from Rayleigh and on inspection there were marks all around the edge of the controller from an attempted opening prior to arrival with us.
On testing the remote was found to had the metal vanity plate shorting out parts of the board as could be seen from within the battery compartment.
The remote was opened and then it was found that the previous attempted opening had damage many traces of the double sided print. Sadly this has made a repair not possible. The remote powers up but there is no RF signal and part of the print damage is in the RF part of the PCB.
