Mertik Maxitrol G6R-H4T5-GA Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Battery light flashing/low voltage with new battery fitted (voltage checked and ok). Will not transmit to the fire. I have phoned you and we had a conversation and you asked me to take the Battery out of the remote straight away and explained the reasons wise.

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This remote control arrived safely from Harrogate and on testing was confirmed to have an erroneous battery indicator.

This was due to a faulty voltage regulator, once replaced full functionality was restored.  The battery cable was also replaced.
