Sony RM-DX455 Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Have been using daily and suddenly stopped working. Not functioning at all. No signs of external damage/battery leak. No beam when tested with camera.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Sony CD Player remote control arrived safely and on testing waws confirmed to be dead. On opening there were tiny corrosion spots in the print but there were no signs of contamination or signs of a battery leak.
A continuity test was carried out but the open circuit could not be pinpointed.
Sadly a repair could not bee carried out. A google search was carried out and replacement remotes can be found on eBay at - https://ebay.us/Qa7av6 - Please check with the seller for further details.
As per our sites service details all return postage fees are fixed at £6 - all items are return by Tracked methods to reduce the risk of loss or damage!
