The batteries are loose inside the unit and it will not work. It fell down the stairs and the batteries fell out. There doesn't appear to be any other part which fell out

This Remote control for a Gloworm boiler arrived safely and on testing was found to have impacted terminals.
The inner terminals were replaced which restored full functionality.
