MERTIK MAXITROL Remote Repair Details

Manufacturer : MERTIK MAXITROL

Customers Fault Description : after replacing battery the low battery icon is still flashing . remote indicates it’s sending signal to fire but not reaction from the receiving box (no led installed ) except every now and then it may trigger an action for a shorter period than it should ( holding the up temp button only triggers the fire for a second )

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This remote arrived safely and on testing was found to have an erroneous battery indicator and weak RF signal

This was due to a faulty voltage regulator, a replacement was fitted which restored full functionality.
