Customer's Fault Description
Doesn't work at all, perhaps a water spillage at some point. Checked batteries and had a sympathetic clean up inside but still nothing.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Remote control for a Yamaha amp RAV438 WW51100 EX arrived safely from Stafford and on inspection the edge was scuffed from an attempted opening prior to arrival with us.  On testing was confirmed to be dead.

This was due to a corrosion spot on two SMD resistors, the print was reworked and the resistors replaced which restored full functionality.
