Mertek Maxitrol Remote Repair Details

Manufacturer : Mertek Maxitrol

Customers Fault Description : The control works but only when the remote handset is held within ~1cm of the receiver.

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This remote and receiver arrived safely and on testing the remote was found to not be transmitting.

This was due to a faulty transducer in the remote itself, this transducer was replaced which restored full functionality.

No fault was found with the receiver.
