Celebrity - 8 Pin Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Not working, however chair does work using Control from another chair. Need EXTRA LONG CABLE -as discussed on phone- to by-pass 'pocket' socket as cable worn exposing inner wires.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This recliner remote control arrived safely from Essex and on inspection the cable was damaged at the remote entry point with a couple of the inner cores being severed.
A replacement straight long cable was fitted (we cannot get the curly kind), the rest of the remote was tested as ok.
