Gazco Mertik Maxitrol G6R-H4T5-GA Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Had remote fixed a couple of years ago with you (Ref 9472-20) but it has been dropped and a similar issue has happened where the battery indicator is showing low battery and therefore not connecting to the receiver.

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This remote arrived safely and on testing waws found to be totally dead, if the battery cable was moved it would spring to life with a low battery indicator.

There was a low resistance across the battery terminals meaning that the cable had broken down inside.  A replacement battery cable was fitted which restored full functionality.
