Customer's Fault Description
Had remote fixed a couple of years ago with you (Ref 9472-20) but it has been dropped and a similar issue has happened where the battery indicator is showing low battery and therefore not connecting to the receiver.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This remote arrived safely and on testing waws found to be totally dead, if the battery cable was moved it would spring to life with a low battery indicator.

There was a low resistance across the battery terminals meaning that the cable had broken down inside.  A replacement battery cable was fitted which restored full functionality.
