Customer's Fault Description
Display flashes when batteries are inserted or it is connected to external power. There is some battery corrosion leakage but it doesn't look to have spread to the control board
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Velux window remote control arrived safely from Cheshire and on testing was found to boot loop cycle. This was due to the software being corrupted, luckily a hard reset was carried out which restored it to factory default settings.
This remote will need to be "Paired" with the window on return by the customer.
