Customers Fault Description : one button does not work the other is intermittent

This recliner remote control arrived safely from Grantham and on inspection the silver facia was missing (this cannot be replaced) and there was a crack in the back cover.
On testing the main buttons were found to have worn contacts. Replacement conductive pads were glued under each of the main buttons and the rest of the remote tested as ok.
