Customers Fault Description : It doesn't stay on. Checked batteries and the unit on the caravan which all seem fine.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This motor mover remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to have erratic functionality.
When opened the battery clip was found to have been replaced but the issue was found to be caused by the ribbon connector cable for the button facia having internal degradation (see image)
Sadly these button facias are not available as spares which has made a repair not possible. The connector was cleaned and refitted which sems to have restored functionality but this is not a solid repair and due to the fact that we cannot confirm its functionality for a long period of time this item is classed as beyond repair.
