Customer's Fault Description
Some of the buttons don't, work some intermittently. Also the back is missing but that doesn't matter if it can't be replaced.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This lighting remote control arrived safely from Manchester and on inspection was found to be missing its battery cover, unfortunately a replacement cannot be provided as spares are not available.
On testing the remote was intermittent in functionality.
When opened this was found to be due to decomposing button contacts which had contaminated the PCB. The PCB was cleared of all contaminants and then replacement conductive pads were glued under each of the buttons.
Full functionality was restored.
