Velux Remote Repair Details

Manufacturer : Velux

Customers Fault Description : WUR 101 Completely dead even with new batteries

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This Velux Blind remote control arrived safely and on inspection the battery cover seems to be missing part of its fixing pins meaning it doesn't stay in position, this cannot be replaced as spare covers are not available.

On testing the remote was found to be transmitting its invisible infra red signal on each button press as per normal operation.  The code being sent was confirmed to be consistent with this model of remote.

This item has been classed as no fault found and it is possible that either the remote requires pairing with the blind again or the blinds receiver may be at fault.
