Horman Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : Horman
Customers Fault Description : Dropped unit on hard surface , case came to pieces unable to put back together. Was working before.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This garage door remote control arrived safely from Skipton and on inspection was totally disassembled.
The remote was reassembled but the power was intermittent, this was due to a bent connector, this was reworked which restored power to the remote.
When tested only the centre button was responsive but when pressed the other buttons would then work for a short period. Once activated a strong RF signal was present.
The customer is to test the remote fully on return.
